Dear Father in Heaven,

This is the day that You have made, for us to rejoice in, and be glad! We shout Your Name in praise and with gratitude, exalted Jehovah!

We thank You that you have sent Your believers a practical leader who wants to restore our land.

We thank You that the priesthood of believers soon surrounded this man Donald, and prayed over him according to Your Word, and pray that believers across this land continue to pray for him daily. We thank You for this man Michael, to serve at Donald’s partner in decision-making and in prayer.

On this day as travelers from around the world enter our Capital city to celebrate this restoration of Constitutional order, we humbly ask for Your divine protection over them and all the Inaugural proceedings.

The enemy is close at hand, financing the way for his demons to shriek and moan in the faces of the celebrants. Let no one be swayed except to pity and to prayer for these individuals. Guard our hearts and minds, so that our actions and responses glorify You in word and deed.

For We the People have chosen a leader who respects and nourishes our freedom in You: freedom to work, to create, to choose, to dare and to abstain—freedom to answer the call of the Spirit, placing our faith in Your law and not in politics or social justice. For us, justice comes down from the Name Above All Names, the One Who knows us, now and in the Day of Judgment. Not from theory, but from Your Eternal Presence our civic life takes form.

Amid this week’s music, parades, dancing and fireworks, let us never forget to humble ourselves and pray for this nation. You have brought this online congregation together to rejoice in Your Amazing Grace, Your Promises and Your Purposes. We honor You today for the miraculous election and pending appointments of godly men and women to our government, with a boundless sense of relief and validation that Your values are not yet extinguished from the United States.

We bow to You today, filled with thankfulness, and eagerness for the work of our hands and prayers of our hearts that lie ahead as we answer the charge to Make America Great Again.

And peace and safety for all who attend.

Father, we pray for the safety and well-being of all the celebrants in Washington today and tomorrow. We pray that our new leaders will experience the glorious day that they and our country deserve.

We especially hold in prayer the police, soldiers, first responders and citizens who are protecting the proceedings and the celebrants. May they be protected from the ill will and evil plans of those who wish to make trouble in any way they can. May their plans for evil and damage come to nothing. Let the light be shone on all those who are encouraging and supporting them, so that we know exactly who they are and what they are doing.

Dear Heavenly Father, You have heard our hearts cry of prayer, praise, supplication, thanksgiving and petitions. Lord, You have drawn us closer to You in these times and days. For that we are most grateful for. Let us each continue in our steadfast love and devotion to our King of kings and increase our faith and love for You and all those around us. We ask that others who do not trust Jesus as their Lord will be drawn to Him as His name is lifted high. Give us courage and opportunities to share our testimony with someone today. Let Your Spirit lead us so Jesus is glorified. In His name, I pray.

Holy Father, your children call Your name to thank YOU for what transpires tomorrow. Those unable to actually be a part of the “WALL OF PRAYER”, will be there in spirit, praising You and the miracles they have witnessed. As a nation, we feel uplifted and loved once again.

May the children of this generation be told this story time and again through the ages in order that it never be forgotten or revised. All PRAISE belongs to YOU and all YOU have given to Your children.
