Thanks Lera outstanding update
The B'rit Chadashah was written in Hebrew, then translated into Greek and further dumbed down into English
Notice:
Luke 23:38 And an inscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
John 19:20 Then many of the Jews read this title, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin.
Acts 21:40 So when he had given him permission, Paul stood on the stairs and motioned with his hand to the people. And when there was a great silence, he spoke to them in the Hebrew language, saying...
Acts 22:2 And when they heard that he spoke to them in the Hebrew language, they kept all the more silent. Then he said:
Acts 26:14 And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.

F.A.Q.
In what languages were the scrolls written ?
The majority of the scrolls were written in the Hebrew Language (approximately 90-95%) with Assyrian Block script. From this majority there are a few cases in which the scribes used Paleo-Hebrew (see for example 4QPaleoExodus). In addition to the texts found in Hebrew there were also some texts written in Aramaic and Greek.

The region refered to as Qumran (where the Dead Sea Scrolls were compiled) is my guess as where Yochanan the immerser (John the Baptist) grew up, (the wilderness). After all he would have been under Herod's death sentance just as Yeshua was.
The Hebrew B'rit Chadashah is richer then the Greek, for instance.
The word 'paradise' in the Hebrew is two different words.
Gan Eden (Garden of Eden) and PaRDeS which is a whole other study.
Luke 23:43 And Jesus said to him, Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise. גַן־עֵדֶן Gan Eden Garden of Eden
2 Corinthians 12:4 how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. פַּרְדֵּס PaRDeS orchard
Revelation 2:7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God. גַּן־אֱלׂהִים GaN ELoHIM Garden of ELoHIM
In Greek it's the same word, 'paradeisos' look it up at Blue Letter Bible
