I don't know how nor why you connected your comment to my #3, but OK ... I do that a lot myself.

No one knows what I'm talking about except me, and I make perfect sense ... as long as I'm the only one in the room.


I cited Hebrews 4:12 because Scripture IS the final say on any matter and if we have learned to read English, slightly Victorian thou's and thee's are not confusing and are readily understandable.


My independent Baptist preacher doesn't necessarily add anything to scripture, but proclaims it in a way that your (and my) father did when he was trying to teach our young knuckleheads something important.

Or when we needed to be corrected.

....And this is why I rather do a Bible the steers clear of the “thees” and “thys” words, for example, NRSV CE. Keep it simple to understand.
