(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

Reading the Koran in a Christian church is like going into a synagogue and reading Mein Kampf.

Very Rev Kelvin Holdsworth invited the reading from Madinah Javed, a law student from Glasgow, at the January 6 service to celebrate Epiphany, the coming of the Magi to worship Jesus.the Epiphany service contained a recitation from the Islamic holy book denying Jesus was the son of God a key Christian doctrine.
So this priest or minister invited a Muslim to recite from a heretical book denying Jesus during the Epiphany mass
WHY would anybody be surprised that someone would take offence to this outrage?

If our minister had pulled a PC stunt like this, he would have been sent packing. But the Episcopal Church glories in their tolerance of ungodly ideas and practice, thinking it makes them superior to those who are steadfast in the teachings of God’s Word.

"Police Scotland will not tolerate any form of hate crime and encourages all communities to continue working together to ensure no one feels threatened or marginalised," a spokesman told Christian Today.
These Scottish police are acting like modern Nazis.

"Police Scotland will not tolerate any form of hate crime and encourages all communities to continue working together to ensure no one feels threatened or marginalised," I'm sure the brainless libtard who made that statement, didn't note its crushing irony.
Can you imagine the boiling outrage, if a Christian had read something similar in a Muslim mosque? The streets would already be running with infidel blood.

So in other words, no freedom of speech to criticize the clergy who did this blasphemous travesty.

What would happen if someone goes into a mosque and reads John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Probably get arrested for a hate crime......
