So Pope Francis calls off the investigation that had been initiated by Pope Benedict of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious, aka Nuns on a Bus; yet, he “investigates” the Knights of Malta for exercising moral discipline. Just as he did with the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate.

The pope is after Cardinal Burke. No? Burke is transparently suggesting a formal correction is possible among the College of Cardinals.
“Strike the shepherd and the sheep scatter.” The pope can not tolerate the suggestion, certainly not the deed coming to fruition.
I am watching the College. The overall silence is deafening, so.far.
