This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 JOHN 5:14 Religion Forum threads labeled [Prayer] are closed to debate of any kind.
We come to You in prayer because we recognize that we as a people are insufficient for the challenges we face as a nation. We know that You alone can help us and our leaders.
America is still in crisis, from within and without. We face new threats of terrorism on our shores, millions of angry citizens because of the election, a reduction in moral standards and a secular media and elites intent on restricting foundational principles such as religious liberty and freedom of speech.
Trump and Pence will be President and Vice-president and yet Lord, we need You more than ever. Many enemies are seeking to bring them down. God we ask that they would stand strong and persevere in Your strength.
Father, we repent of our sin, and thank God for His promised forgiveness. We pray for our government leaders to fight evil and stand up for truth.
We pray that truth and justice will prevail over "political correctness" and "tolerance," both in our own lives and in our culture.
We recognize that You ultimately orchestrate human history and use whom You will to accomplish Your purposes.
We pray that You Lord would unite Your people, use us to bring restoration in this broken culture.
We give you all HONOR, GLORY and PRAISE.
And we ask all things in the name of Jesus.

Holy Father, your children ask for Your mercy and blessing. We pray that as a nation, we will once again be one nation under God; Strong, compassionate, and wise; governed by individuals who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. Please protect those who speak to You, walk with You and silence our enemies making them impotent.
