Yes, I admit the roots of Christmas are rather dubious, as are all religious holidays that were converted from paganism. I see no aspects other than symbolism which point to paganism in modern day Christmas, however. And the symbols themselves have lost their original (or any) meaning. Christmas trees and their ornaments, for example. Or presents. How many know the origins of what these represent? But more importantly, I think, is how Christ is represented in them. He’s not.
