They saw Him, God and all the angels judging every man?
For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will then repay every man according to his deeds. Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.
Truly I say to you is an affirmation of both statements. At least it reads that way.
While I agree that the half you posted fits. The previous doesn’t.
Actually on second thought it doesn’t fit. Why say “some of you will not taste death?” If he was speaking of the crucifixion and resurrection. None of them were dead then.

He's teaching the reality of the kingdom to come. He's telling them what's going to happen. And then he makes the statement that he's going to prove it to them now.
Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.

He's saying those FEW that he takes with them on the mountain are NOT going to have to die to see Christ in the kingdom. He gives them a vision and shows them. Everybody else was going to die since they won't be resurrected and see that sight until Christ returns.
