Just a suggestion: He could have changed the venue to the funeral home. My Mom wanted a videotape of Dad’s funeral service. Her church said no, the funeral home said yes, so she changed the venue. It isn’t rocket science.

The grandparents were devout Catholic and as such, this would be out of the question. Not just for them but the rest of the family who still follows the faith. It must be done at a funeral Mass in church.

They'd rather whine and moan and coerce others to do their bidding.

Obama's "Justice" department and social media gave the queers enough power to really screw with normal people, and they use it whenever possible.

If he had really been a Catholic his whole life, he would have known that there aren’t any invited musical acts at a funeral Mass, or any other Mass. The actual music has to be church approved.

The Father told him that he can’t change the Liturgy, and gave him options to sing elsewhere.
