Let Us Reason ^

In a time where Christians have very little knowledge of other spiritual beliefs and the occult it seems that we are being challenged to be transformed along with the rest of the world that does not know Christ. The question we need to ask those who are promoting these methodologies: is Christ sufficient or deficient?

The newest breakthrough trend on spiritual life/personality casting is ENNEAGRAM, this is supposed to be a tool for discovering more about one’s strength's and weaknesses in our personality. The word 'Enneagram' comes from two Greek words Ennea meaning 'nine' and Grammos meaning 'point'. The Enneagram consists of a system that holds that there are nine approaches to the perception and response to reality.

This looks like an up and coming fad.

Anyone encounter this yet or know anything about it?

Was a fad over 25 years ago. It works much like a Myers-Briggs personality. Suggest book Ennegrams made easy. Fun and revealing

My wife was watching Property Brothers, the subject of yoga came up, she said, “EVERYBODY is doing yoga”. Not merely by implication, in the absence of a dedicated abatement program, the fact of The Danger from yoga directly affects at least some members of our congregation—that is consistent with my direct personal experience, I can think of at numerous instances in which a Christian has casually mentioned to me that they practice yoga, “it’s just for the stretching exercises” is the universal disclaimer. Serpent Power Rises from The Base of the Spine. The influence of the enemy of souls in being incorporated into our people’s bodies and minds. There is no neutral, cursory practice of yoga. It draws anyone who engages in it directly away from the healing, salvific power of Jesus Christ. The definitive church document on this issue is Jesus Christ, Bearer of the Water of Life, A Christian Reflection on “The New Age” http://bit.ly/1df2fHm which only finds it necessary to make cursory reference to yoga, the very terseness of this reference implying that it is our responsibility to exercise dedicated, wholehearted compliance with the church’s authority to protect us in matters under her competence. Yoga is a significantly involved subject. Many Christian leaders don’t know there’s a problem, but people in the heart of yoga know there is one—with sex. When I heard Jimmy Akin and Patrick Coffin make neutral reference to yoga, I had to call them on it, they weren’t aware of its problems, I recommended they get Clare McGrath Merkle on the show. (But their website is so “convoluted” you now can’t effectively find Clare’s guest appearance.) Clare has been prominently featured on the Journey Home http://bit.ly/2d40VKx

Clare McGrath-Merkle: Revert from the New Age -The Coming Home Network bit.l Clare was brought up in a faith-filled Catholic family. She married right out of college and was active in her and Women of Grace. In the Women of Grace program I purchased, Clare recounted how a female medical therapist asked her to leave her daughter alone with the woman, when Clare looked in on them, she observed the woman applying, as Clare, a former, dedicated new-ager describes it, sexual magic, a technique of the Tantric yoga based reiki diabolic new age practice which is mistakenly used by many medical practitioners, even Christians. Clare immediately asked the woman to stop. News has now come out, of the overwhelming propensity, amounting to the default condition, for top yogis to be perpetrating sexual abuse against their female clients, as with Yoga and Sex Scandals: No Surprise Here http://nyti.ms/2dnT4bE

Yoga Fans Sexual Flames and, Predictably, Plenty of Scandal nyti.ms

Since the baby boomers discovered yoga, the arousal, sweating, heavy breathing and states of undress that characterize yoga classes have led to predictable results.

by Pulitzer Prize winning NY Times science reporter William J. Broad, author of a book on the subject. It turns out that there is no distinction between Hatha yoga, the most common form of yoga, and the pernicious practice of Tantric yoga. Hatha is merely an abbreviated or “light” form of Tantra, in which Yogis engage, with deliberation and dedication, in diabolical sexual practices: eating pork and drinking wine (an offense against “orthodox” traditional Eastern religious outlooks, “be all things to all people”), engaging in carnal relations in graveyards, the latter clearly a sign of diabolical influence. I wouldn’t suggest that you view Tantric iconography, but if you already have, you will have the memory of highly stylized graphic depictions of “the enemy of souls, unworthy of mention”. I myself suffered involuntary exposure to a Reiki practitioner at my workplace, amounting to contagion, contamination. I was subject to diabolic oppression, as described by Rev. Scott Haynes on the EWTN Homily 2/9/2009 http://bit.ly/2d42HLD. There is no “harmless” practice of yoga for Christians, as amply explicated at the article on reiki http://www.cuf.org/2005/04/reiki/Clare McGrath Merkle’s journey into darkness from the edges of the Church’s light is will typify the future experience of those members of our parish who are becoming ensnared in these practices in the absence of dedicated warning from our leadership. “Clare was brought up in a faith-filled Christian family. She married right out of college and was active in her congregation. After a series of tragedies in her life, her misguided minister mistakenly sent her to an ashram, where she was introduced in Eastern Religions and New Age teachings. She became a New Age “healer”. After several terrifying experiences, she phoned a minister who pray over her. This was the beginning of her deliverance and began a five year long journey back to the Christian Church.” Unlike other congregations, we are amply staffed with “harvesters”. It is my suggestion that you personally evade “the wrath to come” on this issue, by properly assigning it to one of our many talented people.
