There are some people who should not be allowed to become figures for humor and satire in that way. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with you, but I don't consider Jorge Bergoglio to be one of those "exempt" figures. I was upset when the British cartoon series, Popetown, came out shortly after the election of Pope Benedict XVI. I thought it was very disrespectful of both the man and his office.

Bergoglio, the man, disrespects not only his office and his predecessors, he disrespects the very religion he claims to profess. He's a loose cannon.

Apologies. In re-reading my comment I realize that I was not clear. I was referring to Hitler, not the Pope. These parodies trivialize one of the great monsters of history.
