Why not just answer the five yes/no questions?
Why just talking around the questions and not answering them? When can we put the issues to rest with simple yes/no answers?

His reasoning, if I can call it that, reminds me of some feminist "philosophers" who see clear, logical, linear thinking as being in itself oppressive, a male construct.
