Heavenly Father,

As we pass the 98th anniversary of the end of World War I, may we remember that only You can bring peace to this world. First as Prince of Peace in our hearts, for those who know You. And as the Peacemaker, reconciling us to You, through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Give us a heart of repentance. Not only from our individual sins. But for the sins of our nation. Forgive our pride, our vileness, living like You don’t exist. Grant us mercy, not the judgment we deserve.

Protect the President-Elect and Vice President-Elect in the transition of power.
* Grant them Wisdom in selecting their advisors.
* Give them a listening heart and discernment.
* Frustrate any plans of the Evil One to sabotage the new administration.

Protect all those, who put themselves in harm’s way to serve others, home and abroad. We humbly ask that You shed Your infinite grace on us. And through Your grace, may America be great again.

Great idea to make this a continued prayer vigil for America. God heard the prayers of His people and kept Hillary from winning. Let’s all continue to pray for our country.
