Actually, cussing is only a venial sin and even then depends on the context of usage.

Just a little factoid.

Not me.

I've placed my trust in Christ.

“am Catholic and we were basically told to vote Trump tonight at mass. No names were mentioned, but it was clear.”

Wow. Lucky you. I’ve considered myself lucky (no joke) that my own diocese is apolitical, since so many priests shove the social gospel nonsense down peoples’ throats. I can’t imagine a Catholic Church where it’s ever even implied one should vote for a Republican, any Republican, let alone Donald Trump. Maybe a healthy backlash has begun. Please, God, let it be so.

Limbaugh mentioned it a couple of months ago. Hillary has gotten herself so deep into donations by powerful entities that she HAS TO WIN the presidency, or heads may roll.

Our diocese had one of the most liberal Bishops in the country, then he turned 70 and wrote his resignation letter. Pope Ben was still in and he removed him effective immediately. Usually they are left till replaced. We finally got our new Bishop and he is conservative. It is so refreshing. My two priests are very conservative as well. I am so happy with things now. I ignore the new Pope.

The fake Pope was installed by the NWO so it is no surprise.

Most Catholics have no idea how bad the past is of Catholics...Priests,nuns,bishops all had agendas or were forced to become religious..There are assassinations etc..This is nothing compared to what went on with other bad Catholics in charge.

In the last few weeks, I've had come to a new state of peace about Pope Francis. I've been aghast at what he's done and believe he's damaged the Church, but now feel his influence — in the Church and in the world — has peaked. I have nothing objective to point to, but believe God is going to limit his damage earlier than I would have thought. For example, what Pope Francis is trying to do in China would be disastrous, but almost everyone seems to be saying so — and loudly. If Pope Francis backs down on what he has tried to do vis-à-vis the Church in China, it will be a sign that he has run out of steam...and even if he doesn't back down, I predict he will reverse his actions within a year. There's a different feel to things these days. Again, have nothing objective to point to...just a feeling.

Presumption is a sin.

Old Catholic Catechism...sins against HOPE are presumption and despair.

Are you now saying every creature does not have to be subject to the roman pontiff??

I never said such a thing. All humans must obey the unchangeable teachings of the Catholic Church to attain eternal salvation. But individual popes are only infallible when they speak on matters of faith and morals, ex cathedra.

Unfortunately, most of the post VC-II popes have spoken mainly about topics outside of faith and morals. And none have spoken ex cathedra.

Bergoglio is not only attempting to damage the Catholic faith and morals, but he is advancing a godless, U.N. / Soros, world government. But he has not spoken ex cathedra once. He's a sneak in the greatest sense.

Believing the words of Jesus are presumption...got it.

No, I do not feel the devil’s presence in this article. I only feel a breath of fresh air. It’s time for the Church, like the U.S. government, to drain the swamp.

I’m Catholic and yes you have heard a lot about how I feel about Francis the talking pope, I don’t like him...

I go to Mass at least 3 times a week, and we are being told in so many words to vote for Trump and that is what we are doing...

The pope is a ‘human’ and God says you don’t let ‘humans’ rule you, God does that, that is if you believe in Him...and I do...no one can live a decent life if they do not believe in God...
