At the end of each game, win or lose, the Carolina band has a concert. With in the concert they play a chilling rendition of Amazing Grace. They do this after every single home game in a mostly empty stadium. Only those who hang around a few moments after the game, including maintnence crews, get to hear this concert. Proud to have watched my daughter perform this in person during 3 of the 4 years she marched with The Mighty Sound of the South.
As the band played, I was running the words through my mind.
Mine, too. I love to hear it in bagpipes; it transports me.
