Clinton Campaign's Anti-Catholic Emails
Creative Minority Report ^ | October 11, 2016 | MATTHEW ARCHBOLD

Posted on 10/11/2016 3:55:47 PM PDT by NYer

So yeah, the Clinton campaign picked Tim Kaine as the vice presidential nominee but a recently leaked email displays the animus and disdain which the campaign views conservative Catholics.

WikiLeaks released an email chain that included Clinton campaign chair John Podesta, Clinton campaign communications director Jen Palmieri, and Center for American Progress fellow John Halpin.

Halpin wrote:

Ken Auletta's latest piece on Murdoch in the New Yorker starts off with the aside that both Murdoch and Robert Thompson, managing editor of the WSJ, are raising their kids Catholic. Friggin' Murdoch baptized his kids in Jordan where John the Baptist baptized Jesus.

Many of the most powerful elements of the conservative movement are all Catholic (many converts) from the SC and think tanks to the media and social groups.

Halpin also says of conservatism among Catholics:
It's an amazing bastardization of the faith. They must be attracted to the systematic thought and severely backwards gender relations and must be totally unaware of Christian democracy.

Palmieri reportedly said that Catholicism is “the most socially acceptable politically conservative religion” and adds “Their rich friends wouldn't understand if they became evangelicals.”

Podesta then chimes in saying,
Excellent point. They can throw around "Thomistic" thought and "subsidiarity" and sound sophisticated because no one knows what the hell they're talking about.
Yup. This is disgusting but it is how the Clinton campaign views Catholicism. And if you're hoping the media will cover this in the way it deserves, think again. I'd bet it'll hardly get a mention on MSM.

Catholics had better understand that persecutions of Christians will come under a Clinton administration and will then be continued by muslims.

The B!tch uses the word ‘Thomistic’ as if it were a cuss-word - KMA!

Thomas Aquinas :

believed that both faith and reason discover truth, a conflict between them being impossible since they both originate in God.

Believing that reason can, in principle, lead the mind to God, Aquinas defended reason’s legitimacy, especially in the works of Aristotle. The philosophy of Aquinas continues to offer insights into many lingering problems in Metaphysics, the Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Religion and Ethics...

Go, Trump, GO!

One more progressive on the Supreme Court and the Catholic church in this country is gone - they won’t be able to preach as they want, hire as they want, or spend their funds as they want - it will be painful.....

When you say "persecution of Christians," I assume you mean things such as:

Christians won't be allowed to speak their minds on subjects such as homosexuality (to a degree worse than the current situation).

Christians will be forced to directly fund abortion through their taxes (again, to a degree that is even worse than now).

Christians won't be allowed to teach their children the precepts of the Gospel.

etc.

Well, the half +/- of "Catholics" who are going to vote for Hillary are in favor of all of that. Unrestricted abortion and licentious sex of every possible description are basic rights and the Gospel is "hate speech." As a bonus, you have no right to own arms to defend your family, and the government has the right to tax and regulate everything you have and every area of your existence.

Even worse, I know a lot of Catholics who are consider themselves conservative, but in reality are perfect democrats with the exception that they oppose abortion (don't support the 2nd amendment, favor taxation and government control in general)...And while I don't think any of them are voting for Clinton, I don't know that any of them are voting for Trump either. He's just so "vuuuulgar." In reality, they wouldn't mind a Clinton presidency. Nothing about her policies bother them except abortion and a couple other social issues.

I totally fed up with these useless milksops.

Go here, I just watched it again. You think there won’t be religious persecution if the Beast is elected?

True. The 2 most vocal Hillary supporters on my FB page are members of my church. It’s sickening.

What in my post makes you think that I believe that the dems won’t engage in persecution?

We need to pray, have Faith and ask God for His help.

Then do God’s will. Trust in God.

This world has too much evil, so we need to stand firm with God.

Behold, the hour is coming and has arrived when each of you will be scattered* to his own home and you will leave me alone. But I am not alone, because the Father is with me.q

I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.” (John 16: 32-33)

Um, you said this:
The dems hate all religions. They are commies through and through

And I, obviously mistakenly, thought you would be interested in a video about Hillary saying we have to change religious beliefs.

I have noted your name and I promise not to ever ping you again.

Thanks for the clarification....I thought you were trying to suggest something else all together. My misunderstanding. I am familiar with that speech of hers and it is as scary as they come Don't take my name off any future pings. I was just trying to clarify. Sometimes I don't always understand. 😉

Actually, the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church. If Nero and Diocletian and failed to finish off the Church, the sorry ass likes of Obozo and Her Satanic Majesty don’t stand a chance.
