DONALD TRUMP/MIKE PENCE PRAYER VIGIL 8/20/2016 Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for Presidential candidate DONALD TRUMP and Vice Presidential candidate MIKE PENCE.
This is the confidence we have in approaching GOD: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 JOHN 5:14 Religion Forum threads labeled [Prayer] are closed to debate of any kind.
The Lord is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?
2 When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.
3 Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.
PSALM 59:9-10
9 You are my strength; I wait for you to rescue me, for you, O God, are my fortress.
10 In his unfailing love, my God will stand with me. He will let me look down in triumph on all my enemies.
FATHER GOD,
GOD, our STRENGTH. GOD, our DEFENDER. You go before us. You help us defeat our enemies. LORD, our LIGHT. LORD, our SALVATION. Why should we be afraid? You are our FORTRESS protecting us from danger.
O LORD, our nation is in turmoil and chaos. Our enemy prowls among us, ready to pounce without a moment's notice. This is the fruit of a nation that has rebelled and denied the Lord. We have turned our backs on You. Have mercy on us, O GOD. Forgive us. Revive us again.
We lift DONALD TRUMP/MIKE PENCE up to You. Bless and protect them, their families, and staff. When their enemies plot against them, may their evil schemes never succeed. Surround DONALD TRUMP/MIKE PENCE with wise counsel. Teach them to put on the whole armor of God, that they may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. May they fear Your Name.
FATHER GOD, confuse the liberal media, politicians and pundits, and all who refuse to obey You. May they embarrass themselves by the foolishness and lies that come out of their mouths. Let their opinions and plans come to naught.
Thank You, LORD. We call upon Your Name, and You answer us. You defend us and give us strength. You are our REFUGE. We will worship You.

May the Lord go before them and frustrate the plans of the enemy. Fill them with the Holy Spirit. Grant them Wisdom and gracious words.
As they prepare for the coming debates, give them a clear mind, patience, self-control, and divine wisdom. May they escape the traps of bias and deceit.
