Since you never answered my question as to why you enclosed straight with quotes, as in “straight” daughters, I can only assume they are not straight. Major problem with homosexuals raising children.

At an attempt to stay on topic concerning your anecdotal evidence, do your lesbian neighbors claim to be Christians?
If so, "judging"/expelling sin within the Church is an explicit command. The only caveat is if the are new to the faith and have not matured/in the process of repenting. Eventually everyone professing the faith must take up the Cross and leave behind behaviors contrary to God's commands. If a person could care less, then you are correct, that is for God to judge.
