The Grand Mosque of Rome declined to take part in a national "Say no to violence" initiative that was supported by more than 2,000 other Islamic communities in Italy.
For the September 11 observance-- deliberately timed for the anniversary of the terrorist attacks on America-- Italian Christians were welcomed at mosques throughout the country. But the Grand Mosque did not participate. A spokesman, Abdellah Redouane, said that the observance could cause "confusion and ambiguity," and blamed "those who seek visibility at any cost and present themselves as representative" of the Islamic faith.

There’s nothing “Grand” about that place and what it represents.
I was too eager to witness the great, ancient history of that city.
Any idea how long that muzzie terrorist training camp has been there?
Didn't they used to call that the Vatican?
ROME, June 21, 1995 A grand mosque on the scale of some of Islam's most holy shrines formally opened its doors today in a multinational, multilingual ceremony that ended on a note of challenge.
If the mosque -- the first to be built in the home of the Roman Catholic Church -- has a message, it is one of religious tolerance. And that was the message that Pope John Paul II threw back at the Islamic world today as he hailed the mosque's opening at his weekly general audience in St. Peter's Square.
I was stationed in Rome in the 70S and have no recollection of anything Islamic. When I left Rome I got transferred to Jeddah and learned all I’ll ever need to know about Islam.
Burn them all down. All of them.
raze it
July 31, 1989 Just a quarter of a century ago, the Vatican squelched any talk of a mosque being built in this city. Technically, of course, it had no say in the matter. But the reality was, and still is, that little can be accomplished here when religious matters are at stake without at least its tacit approval.
The church dropped its objections after the Second Vatican Council in 1965. In the 1970's the Italian Government gave the Islamic center permission to build, and the Rome municipal government made a gift of a 7.5-acre undeveloped lot. The Cost: $40 Million
Rome is now reaping what it has sown. Weeds and thorns.
There’s 2000 Islamic communities in little tiny Italy.
Ban all muslims.
Remove all muslims.
Never let any muslims in ever again.
