Amazing that AFRICA is showing Western Christianity the way.
We had a Nigerian priest in our parish for about five years. He was MOST interesting. He had to return to his country to work at the seminary TRAINING new priests.
It is really astounding. Even Saudi Arabia, which monitors the demographics of the ummah, is shocked by how many black Muslims are quitting Islam every day to become Christians. Importantly, Islam does not recognize just “quitting”, only conversion. So these African blacks are converting very intentionally.
The biggest break was when South Sudan, which is Christian, decided to no longer live in thrall to Muslim North Sudan, and left after a bloody civil war. Angola has effectively outlawed Islam.
For their part, some of the African Archbishops now claim membership larger than that of nations.
