Father God, we thank You for the gift of another day, for the grace of life.

Lord, we pray that You will be with our military men and women. You know whatever plots there may be against them, whatever dangers they face; we ask that You protect them.

LORD, You created the heavens, and You alone are God. You fashioned and made the earth, and founded it; You did not create it to be empty but formed it to be inhabited. You are the LORD, and there is no other. You have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness. You have not said to Jacob’s descendants or any people on earth, “Seek Me in vain.” O LORD, You speak the truth; You declare what is right. From the distant past You have declared the truth, and You foretold Your salvation long ago. There is no God apart from You, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but You. We pray to You in Christ’s Name, and seek acceptance through Him, Amen.
