I learned this lesson in college. I had lost a lot of weight and couldn’t afford new clothes (I was working my way through and paying for everything - WAY before there was student loans). A fellow student offered to take in a few pairs of slacks but I really needed some additional clothes. I prayed about it and gave it to the Lord - reminded by that very same passage of Scripture WRT the lilies of fields. I never asked anyone but one day at my job the wife owner of the store I worked at brought in two bags of clothes for me to try on and EVERYTHING fit perfectly. One of the dresses she gave me was the prettiest thing I had ever seen. It was a white fabric background that was filled in with beautiful flowers - mostly lilies! That became my “church” dress. I loved it.

It was these types of experiences that taught me I could really trust in God’s promises and my faith grew stronger through those times of testing. God is good and He means what He says.

Sometimes it’s the little things like that that show that God cares more than the biggie miracles.
