Archbishop Eamon Martin of Armagh has called a meeting of the trustees of Ireland's national seminary, as reports of an aggressive gay culture at the institution continue to circulate in the Irish media.

St. Patrick's seminary in Maynooth has become the focus of controversy, with former students complaining about sexual harassment and bullying. Dublin's Archbishop Diarmuid Martin recently removed his own seminarians from Maynooth, citing the "poisonous" atmosphere, and voiced concern that the trustees had not yet been summoned to discuss the crisis.

According to a different article, quoting the Archbishop, it is based on “anonymous letters”, and he has not been able to get complainants to speak openly. If accurate, this makes the whole story rather doubtful.
