Do Jews and Muslims Decide the Conditions for the Recognition of the SSPX?

Director of Vatican Insider, the papal house vaticanist Andrea Tornielli, explains why his articles and products published by his platform are of particular attention. This also applies to this article by the AJC representatives to the Holy See, where Tornielli allows Jews and Muslims to designate the conditions about which the Holy See should conduct a canonical recognition of the SSPX. Vice versa this means: Should these conditions not be met, it would open up "serious questions". It's a statement in the article of the American Jewish Comittee that someone could read as a threat. Anyway, Tornielli offered the American Jewish Comittee and the Islamic Religious Council the opportunity to be the warning sign for the Vatican. It's an "unusual procedure", because they revolve "around internal Church matters" which are also to be clarified within the Church. It's an "interference" from the outside which must be "considerations rejected in principle" ipso facto, so Messa in Latino . It is also dubious indeed that the American Jewish Comittee and the Islamic Religious Council are pulling together, to warn the Catholic Church of a "return" to their traditional claim that it was entrusted by Jesus Christ as the "only way to salvation."

Just FYI: The American Jewish Committee is not remotely a religious organization. It’s for left-wing politics.

Would it be similar to the Catholic version on the right: the Catholic League?

This Jew says, “Not no... F#$% NO!!!”

It is NOT for people outside a religion to determine anything about that religion!

With all due respect to the Pope, SJWs SUCK!

No, Jews nd Muslims should not decide this. SAINT John Paul II already decided this against SSPX and he was neither a Jew nor a Muslim. Regrettably Benedict XVI, in an intended act of mercy, lifted the excommunications of de Mallerais, de Gallaraga (sp.?), Williamson and Fellay. Then Fellay banished Williamson (upon what actual AUTHORITY, no one knows). The SSPX follies are reminiscent of credentials fights at Young Republican conventions except that the losers suffer far more serious consequences.

Archbishop Marcel LeFebvre, founder of this infernal id ridden cult of SSPX died excommunicated by JP II and that is not changeable. Bound on earth. Bound in heaven. The SSPX successors nonetheless aspire to be the tail that wags the dog.

Not even that close. It’s ethnic, not religious at all. It would be more like the National Italian American Foundation.

Next think you’ll know, the Vatican Insider will be soliciting commentary from the Southern Poverty Law Center on who is Catholic.

I don't think it's dubious at all. As a matter of fact, I don't doubt most of the Vatican also now rejects the claim that the Catholic Church was entrusted by Jesus Christ as the "only way to salvation."

"Often, too, Divine Providence permits even good men to be driven from the congregation of Christ by the turbulent seditions of carnal men. When, for the sake of the peace of the Church, they patiently endure that insult or injury, and attempt no novelties in the way of heresy and schism, they will teach men how God is to be served with a true disposition and with great and sincere charity. The intention of such men is to return when the tumult has subsided. But, if that is not permitted because the storm continues or because a fiercer one might be stirred up by their return, they hold fast to their purpose to look to the good even of those responsible for the tumults and commotions that drove them out: and, without forming secret congregations, they defend to the death and confirm by their testimony the faith which they know is preached in the Catholic Church. The One who sees their secret combats crowns their victory in secret. This situation seems rare in the Church, but it is not without precedent, it presents itself more often than it can be believed. So Divine Providence uses all kinds of men as examples for the sanctification of souls and for the edification of the people of God." Saint Augustine, On True Religion, VI, 11.

I wish this were a time of mere tumult and commotions. What we are experiencing is far greater. Our times are without precedent. As bad as the Arian crisis was it still doesn’t even come close. These are novel times.
