So the photos and letters I get from my World Vision kids are a lie?

I knew about WV awile ago. They had sketchy books. Best thing if you are in a mood to donate is to always go local and research first. Helps your immediate area out first, whatever the cause.

Yes, I just recently read about a guy who looked for his “kid” and found that while he did exist he never received any thing but supposedly the village did...sure.

I just read about this and am shocked. I have given money to them and thought they were a great Christian org. This is such a big disappointment.

So the photos and letters I get from my World Vision kids are a lie? Sure they're real...they just grew up to be suicide bombers

The regional director of operations for World Vision, Mohammad El Halabi, a resident of the Gaza Strip, was responsible for systematically redirecting millions of dollars to Hamas, Halabi reporting over 60% of donations designated to the region as having been stolen to support the terrorist organizations efforts, estimating around $7.2 million annually. I wouldn't go overboard here. This involves an allegation of regional impropriety by this Mohammed guy. The money directed to that region being Gaza it appears, over 60% was being stolen to support the Jihad. Disturbing if a person is dumb enough to send money to that region.
