Liked the article. I could have written it word for word.

I sent it to my friends with this message preceding the article:

I have said for many years the fundamental Muslims tell us Kafirs what they are going to do to us, and why they hate us, but it never seems to sink in to us naïve Kafirs.
Here is the latest response to the naïve knucklehead Pope Francis from the fundamental Muslims.(article enclosed)

I guess they will have to chop his head off to get the message across. -Tom

There isn't any anti-pope at this point.

Pope Francis is simply a bad pope, not an anti-pope.

A bad pope is a pope who sins, one who makes disastrous errors of governance, or even one who has heretical opinions. An anti-pope is a man who opposes, as rival, a legitimately elected pope.

In other words, for there to be an antipope, there has to be a living, legitimately elected pope against whom the antipope is in open struggle and competition. The situation results from rival conclaves, and therefore involves rival groups of bishops/cardinals backing different candidates.

The Encyclopedia Britannica correctly defines "antipope" this way:

"One who opposes the legitimately elected bishop of Rome, endeavors to secure the papal throne, and to some degree succeeds materially in the attempt."

Some of the sedevacantists think there has been no legitimate pope since 1958 (the death of Pius XII) and therefore, at this point, there could be never a legitimate pope NOR an anti-pope, ever again. And why? Becaus, they say, there has not been a legitimate conclave in 58 years. Therefore there are also no legitimate cardinals, since the ones alive in 1958 are now dead, and all of the ones we've got now were consecrated or appointed by supposedly illegitimate popes.

In other words, this faction-of-a-faction --- I'm speaking of the most excruciatingly alienated wing --- think Christ's promises were bunk. They are fueled by nonstop anger and exposed to the danger of ultimate despair. So, let us love them, pray and sacrifice or them, and for the whole Church.

Whenever I see Pope Francis reaching fr a microphone I feel like I’m watching a toddler reaching for a steak knife.

This was not very nice of ISIS. It is not nice to expose this poor man. You can tell just by looking at him that there is not much upstairs. Let him enjoy his delusions. He is harmless.

Interesting position. Clearly based on some real knowledge. Learned some things from your great post. /NO sarc

That said, I will continue to use the term “anti-Pope” to indicate that as a Catholic I don’t consider Francis to be legitimate. I actually even question if he believes Christ is our Lord and Savior.

To be clear, I do believe CHRIST IS OUR LORD AND SAVIOR. (Sorry to shout, but that statement should be shouted.)

Why will I continue to use the term anti-Pope? Because it is a convenient short-hand for saying illegitimate poser who holds the office.

Again though, great post!

The more accurate term would be false pope.

Non-Catholics can’t be pope because they aren’t even a member of the Church. Therefore, they can not be the head of the Church. Francis is a manifest, public heretic, a non-Catholic, and therefore a non-pope, false pope.

Nope Francis.

I can’t wait to hear Francis’ response. I’m sure it will be a doozy.

If a rival openly opposed Pope Francis for the See of Peter (which could happen --- crazier things have happened in the past) the rival would be the "anti-pope."

Francis is, unfortunately, a legitimately elected pope who has manifest dislike for Catholic doctrine. A bad pope.

Now the fifth true opinion, is that a Pope who is a manifest heretic, ceases in himself to be Pope and head, just as he ceases in himself to be a Christian and member of the body of the Church: whereby, he can be judged and punished by the Church.... The foundation of this opinion is that a manifest heretic, is in no way a member of the Church; that is, neither in spirit nor in body, or by internal union nor external. For even wicked Catholics are united and are members, in spirit through faith and in body through the confession of faith, and the participation of the visible Sacraments. Secret heretics are united and are members, but only by an external union: just as on the other hand, good Catechumens are in the Church only by an internal union but not an external one. Manifest heretics by no union, as has been proved. - Saint Robert Bellarmine, Doctor of the Catholic Church
