I do a lot of subcontracting on government construction projects. It is getting harder all the time because I have white privilege. I seriously plan on saying I identify as a trans, crossdresser, whatever it is these days when I fill out my minority quota sheets. Let them try to deny me.
If you are married you can have your wife run the company- I know contractors who do that ;-)
