Speaking to Vatican Radio, Father Federico Lombardi SJ, Director of the Holy See Press Office, explained that the Pope wants the occasion to be as spontaneous and authentic as possible: a moment in which the bishops and the Pope will be at ease and free to exchange opinions and ask questions.

The Poles have been in the forefront of the resistance to Communion for the divorced and civilly remarried and aren't too keen on Muslim immigration either. I suspect Francis will read the riot act.

Bet you’re right. Bet also the Pope doesn’t want any of his heresy and bullying committed to print. God save the Church from this man.

What I noticed is 3 weeks ago, Obama was trashing Poland for some nonsensical reason.
Poland is the last conservative country in the EU
Francis and Obama want to change that.

Post #1 ~ I suspect Francis will read the riot act. ~

Coin toss, IMHO. You may be right, of course - but I’m hoping he now sees how divisive he has been; and MIGHT try to reconcile with the Bishops...

Frances doesn’t want people to know just how much opposition he is facing.

Well, it’s a two way street, and I doubt that members of the Polish Catholic hierarchy will be willing to put up with any of the Pope’s BS. Traditional Catholics are sick and tired of his absurd and never-ending pronouncements. Finally after more than three years of Francis’ trashing of 2,000 years of beliefs and practices, Catholics at all levels are speaking out.

Exactly.

Polish Bishops’ Conference rejects Holy Communion for divorced and ‘remarried’
