White Oak, Redwood noted. As far as I know, they’d grow here. I assume both are relatively slow-growing — not that we want or need fast. But I guess I should have addend the question, ‘why’? Thanks...

Redwood trees grow REALLY fast...at least in the western US.

I would be surprised if a California Coastal Redwood would thrive there. They need fog to get moisture once they reach a certain age/height.
