Russian Church and State Sign Agreement to Prevent Abortion

The Russians are returning to their tradition of Symphonia, inherited from Byzantium and instituted by Constantine the Great, where church and state complement each other.

The Ministry of Health in Russia has signed an agreement with the Russian Orthodox Church that includes prevention of abortion and provision of palliative care. The agreement signed by Health Minister Veronika Skvortsova and Patriarch Kirill, the head of the Russian Orthodox Churchwas published on the website of the Synodal Department for ROC [Russian Orthodox Church] Church Charity and Social Service.

Article 9 of the 21 article agreement establishes cooperation “on the protection of maternal and child health, including reproductive health, promotion of family values and prevention of abortion.”

The agreement includes joint actions with medical institutions for the..

“creation of crisis pregnancy centers at hospitals with the participation of psychologists and participation of representatives of religious organizations of the Russian Orthodox Church in advising women who are planning to terminate the pregnancy, in medical institutions”

and for the provision of space for..

“posting information of religious organizations of the Russian Orthodox Church on the stands in medical institutions.”

Just goes to show.....if nothing else, Putin, a practicing Christian, is consistent----he backed Egyptian president al Sisi in throwing the Muslim Brotherhood out of Egyptian politics.

Putin also backed al Sisi when the Egyptian president vowed to rebuild the churches and Christian businesses destroyed by the Muslim savages. Onetime Egypt strongman (and Muslim Brother) Morsi has been sentenced to life in prison.

BACKSTORY In Egypt's post-Morsi era, then-Gen al Sisi (now Egyptian president) refused to take Obama's phone call---b/c he knew Obama wanted al Sisi to leave the M/B alone.

Nevertheless, Gen al Sisi proceeded to smash the M/B and throw them out of Egyptian politics....he vowed to rebuild the 65 Christian churches the M/B had savagely torched.

Egypt has unceremoniously thrown the Muslim Brotherhood out of Egyptian politics.... and hasn’t forgotten the support offered to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Egypt under al-Sisi has now charged Obama and Hillary Clinton for conspiring and collaborating with the M/B and advancing their terrorist activities.

Looks like Hillary can check-off Egypt as NOT a partner in her sap-happy foreign policy ally list.

Then when I saw al-Sisi visit a Coptic Church in Cairo to huge cheers, his kindness and graciousness to the Christians there and to the Patriarch (to whom he apologized profusely for interrupting prayers), that told me all I needed to know about Obama’s Egypt policy. It is unfathomable how utterly, completely, perversely wrong our government was in Egypt. Obama is a loathsome human being.

It’s hard to parse any potential faith element vs. state interest in the demographic crisis that is coming for them. The abortion rate in the 90s was unreal, peaking at something like 280 abortions per 100 live births. They didn’t get down to an even ratio until the early 2000s. That’s a lot of people that aren’t around and having kids now. Because of that they might eventually be the first state to make it illegal after legalizing it, which of course is a good thing in any case.

I've read the prophecies about Russia in True Life In God and initially, given our experience with the Soviets, I found them hard to believe.

However, after watching Putin and the Russians resurrect Russia as a Christian nation, even perhaps to be a spiritual leader of nations, as the prophecies claim and just as America once was, I began to take those prophecies and the rest of the material more seriously.

Our fall from Grace is easy to understand.

When we legalized abortion, we fell to/signed on to the dark side and became property of Satan.

But what about the evil Soviet Russia?
