Metropolitan Amvrosios of Kalavryta has expressed his joy that the UK is leaving the European Union, reports the Аgionoros.ru portal.
In his view, this event will shake the foundations of the European Union which in fact is “a German protectorate”: “Today Greece and the EU at large are under German occupation! They have enslaved us not by means of weapons, as it was in the Second World War, but through this abominable economic war”.
Metropolitan Amvrosios has stressed that the external forces, “allied with mendacious Greek politicians who obey them, have put Greece on the verge of disaster”. He has characterized “the godless occupiers who lost the fear of God” as “instruments in the hands of the antichrist who are working hard in order to separate people from God”.
The hierarch has expressed the opinion that “the EU can be described as a union of atheists, wizards, racketeers and deceivers” and has welcomed the decision of the British nation to leave the EU, stressing that this step is instrumental in the fall of the united Europe. “Let all dishonorable individuals go to the abyss of perdition so that our country and the whole of the European continent could breathe a sigh of relief. The collapse of 'the European Union' is beginning!”

Way past time for Europe to have an old time religion revival...Hail Odin!!! :)
Well, I can’t argue with the Metropolitan Amvrosios as to the nature of the evil cabal running the EU, on both economic and immigrant policy terms, however the Greek politicians, primarily socialist and communist, didn’t listen to the Metropolitan either and managed to connive their way into the EU and sucked as many loans as possible out of the Germans, without any intention of seriously paying them back. Now they’re up to their eyeballs in doo doo, and want to blame the bulwark of the European economy, Germany, for their ongoing woes. As the rest of Europe’s socialist paradise economic model circles the toilet bowl, maybe the Greeks will be the first to declare bankruptcy, allow the dominoes to fall, and clean up the monstrous mess afterwards. And I wouldn’t want to be a muslim in Europe when that #hit hits the fan. Just sayin’.
In the 1980’s, as the now E.U. was still in it’s infancy, I had a notion that:
The political head would be based in Belgium, the only country in Europe never to have won in any combative ventures.
The military, or at least the ‘strong arm’ of that group, would be Germnay, for it has the ‘most face to save’.
As for the religious head, I saw Rome again taking the place it held over most of monarchic Europe.
I have never considered the Orthodoxy as a main character in Western Europe, because they have always been less, um, ‘meddlesome’, in comparison to Rome’s wanting their hand inside every monarch’s alimentary canal.
I do agree with the man’s appraisal of the E.U.
Odin will abdicate to Islam like all of the other false gods. What made Europe Great was the God of all the Bible. Europe needs to turn back to Jesus Christ.
