I think they mean the “tallest church in the world???”
I would take the “highest church in the world” as the one at the highest elevation - which I imagine to be in the Himalayas.

Even Anchorage, Alaska has a strange and unfinished 'church' building. Shaped like a weird wedding cake, it sits empty and unfinished - and has for years. Not a church, an eyesore
