STUPID! These people need to GIT BIZZY!!! To think; I was
once praised for using the potty instead of my diaper about

Well, in short, because something like this is an obvious concern to Christians, and so much so that the web site reporting on it is Christian.
It comes under the topic, “Moral Issues,” but I forgot to list that at the time I posted it, and haven’t been able to add that on.

I can't really say HOW the little U.S.A. back then would have needed a draft. Most families were heavily armed for protection against the Indians and wild life.
My mother's family had a rifle mounted in their front room...back in Phoenix, Arizona, where one DID have to occasionally have to deal with varmints, two and four legged.
Also, going into the frontier for more land, free land and such, ALSO required being armed. It didn't seem to be necessary until world wars happened.
