If the Pope said “most sacramental marriages are invalid,” then he literally has no idea what he is talking about.

ALL valid marriages between two baptized people are the sacrament of Matrimony. NO invalid putative marriage is the sacrament of Matrimony.

Nothing the Pope says affects anyone’s marriage. Nothing the Pope says is evidence of anything except his own stupidity, and his hatred for the Catholic Church.

Also, the presumption in canon law is always that a marriage is valid until proven otherwise. What the Pope said is equivalent to me looking out over a crowd of people and saying, “Now I know that most of you are guilty of felonies”. No, I don’t. It has to be *proven* on a case-by-case basis.
