Pray for our American Heroes

Our Gracious Father,

'O Give Thanks unto the Lord; for His is Good; for His Mercy Endureth Forever.' (1Chron.16:34) Through Thy Mercy, Lord, through Thy Grace, we Lift our Petitions to our King. You are our Refuge, Father, and we Look to You in these Turbulent Days. Blessed, and Honored, and Glorious Forever is our Mighty and Loving Lord of Hosts.

Your Excellency, we Ask for Blessings for our American Heroes, and for their Families. May Jehovah-Jesus Dwell with them, Empower them, Deliver them, Keep them Safe. 'Thou art my King, O God: Command Deliverances for Jacob.' (Ps.44:4) Thank You for Your Every Kindness, our Lord of Never-Failing Love.

Our Merciful Master, we Pray for Donald Trump, that You will Bless him and Keep him Safe. Many are his Enemies, Lord, but You are More Powerful than All. Please Surround him with the Angels of Heaven; May his Foes be Unable to Come Near. Please Help Trump to Look to Thee for Daily Guidance and for his Every Need. May he Stand Upon Ps. 13:5,6: 'I have Trusted in Thy Mercy; mine Heart shall Rejoice in Thy Salvation. I will Sing unto the LORD, because He hath Dealt Lovingly with me.'

Thank You for Hearing and Answering our Prayers, Lord. Please Comfort All who were Affected by the Orlando Terrorist Attack. May Your Mercies be with them, and Your Peace be Granted to Many Hearts. In Jesus' Name, for the Glory of the King of Kings, amen.

IN THE COLDEST and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered his prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting Glory, and bestowed His Manifold Blessings upon the new Nation.

FROM THE BRAVE, albeit weary, ill-equipped, and untrained volunteers who marched into Valley Forge on 19 December 1777 arose, with the help of some gallant friends from across the waves, the cohesive fighting force that became the United States Army, global defender of Freedom and scourge of Tyrants.

AS GENERAL WASHINGTON lifted his prayers on high in that bleak Winter, let our prayers now rise like a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and gather them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.
