I would not go quite that far, but prayers are appropriate.

The tragedy is that 50+ AMERICANS were gunned down in a gay bar.
It's no more tragic because they belong to a politically protected victim class than if they were a group of straight, white males as a lodge meeting. And it would be no less tragic if they weren't gay.
Today we are all AMERICANS and the enemy is islam.
I am not gay but will pray for fellow human beings who were victims of islamic violence.
