It needs to be addressed to both women and men.
A woman shouldn’t hope that a man won’t take advantage of her because his parents raised him right. She needs to be taught to have her wits about her at all times. Especially at a frat party.
I agree that young women need to be raised well
But please don’t confuse this issue. The letter has a very specific example that does not deal with alcohol but does involve a church group

NO MORE “go away” education for the foreseeable future.
I cannot state that clearly enough. Over 40 years ago EVERY “sorority sister” who attended to the “frat party” boys, was drunk and getting laid by as many so-called “young men” as possible.
It was understood as a rule of attendance for males and females that being there was automatic affirmation of “yes” sexually to virtually anything when the young adult came to the party. Which the “sisters” regularly did without their underwear, and each carrying a bottle of scotch or something stronger or more debilitating.
I NEVER attended even one such party but had MORE than a few situations where these “innocent young women” did their dead level best to trick me into taking them to an “event” where they admitted the intent was to trip me and beat me to the floor.
Not one, but literally dozens if not hundreds of young women... I did go to college and grad school successfully. But I did it by attending remotely and went to NO SCHOOL activities, even though at the time I was considered quite the “jock”. Oh yes... and they were conservative christian protestant universities.
Wanna keep your daughter “safe”, no damned parties. Attendance is a form of consent. If a man hangs out at strip clubs, he will very likely date and sex up a stripper... and he’s gonna catch something.
Same with drunken frat parties. If frat parties are still what they were back when I attended back in the 70’s before graduating... I can not imagine universities are any more holy and righteous in the Obama “LGBT” generation of “screw anything that moves” or is over 90 degrees Fahrenheit frat and sorority cultures at our universities. I can only imagine them to be be worse and more hellish then ever.
Guys go to these parties to get laid by whoever else shoes up and they routinely give and get sex there... and so do all of the ‘women’ who show up.
Abstain from every appearance of evil is what the scripture says. Don’t go to parties where there are mixed genders and free flowing booze/drugs/narcotics.
Attendance is understood as consent. By whoever shows up at those things.
don’t go, don’t show, don’t stay. Get your education and go home every day, or don’t go at all.
We need to close most of the nations universities. They have become nothing more than extensions for the already too advanced whorehouses we call “high schools” and which are already paid for at public expense.
