I wonder about where the bible says bring it to the store house, not mail it in or send it by some one else or such.
Like another poster said I feel the giving when I physically put my tithe/ donation in the basket.
It’s a heart thing for me, not just an obedience “I gave”.
Modern conveniences can dull our senses and our heart in matters.
God wants my heart not so much my money.
Yeah, I can understand that. For me though, it's a matter of automating the important. I disagree with the idea of stopping the collection plate entirely. Sometimes you might want to do a special (additional) contribution for whatever reason, even if you've automated tithing. Also, not everyone want's to do it electronically, as you said. Both are great. The Lord wants your joyful obedience. Whatever works for you is, I'm sure taken with the intended intention.
