Good reasons on why people faint in church. Includes that old military warning: Don’t lock you knees while standing
I’m sorry to spoil all your fun and ridicule, but IT’S called “The Anointing”.
You can try to explain it away .. or you can learn what “The Anointing” is, and how IT can bless you; and even, in my case, I was healed from a terrible intestinal infection .. to which my doctor explained when he saw the video - “I’ve never seen anything like that in my life, all the infection was covered with scar tissue.”
It all occurred one evening at church when my Pastor laid hands on me .. and I “fainted”.
GOD promised healing and deliverance, but so many still try to keep GOD from doing what he promised.
“The Anointing” is God’s very presence; why would people not want to experience that ..???
Remember, as always, NOBODY HAS TO AGREE WITH ME.
Wow, thank you for sharing that!
These are the same reasons why people often pass out while standing in military formations.
My oldest son had to give up being an altar server because he kept fainting in the middle of Mass. I think it was a combination of his rapid growth, being hungry, and the kneeling restricting the blood flow to his ever growing legs! :0)
What you are talking about is being “Slain in the Spirit.” Not fainting.
And another contributing factor is that Sunday morning comes after Saturday night...
Are you type II?
Yes. Reversed it in 30 days with a vegan diet. No animal products, no oils and only green leaves. Dropped 15% of my body weight and fasting blood sugar is in the 80’s. Thanks be to God.
What regimen did you follow?
No animal products, no oils(vegetable or animal), no dairy, but eat lots of vegetables (raw or cooked) and watch the pounds come off. Keep it going for 30 days.
I’ll give it a try.
Of course, but most people do not know what “slain in the spirit” means; because you may not want to use that phrase unless you know people have already been taught about the Spirit and how IT moves and operates.
So I used the word “fainting” in order to indicate that people fall down .. which is the same as being slain in the Spirit.
