You totally missed the point of the story. It was about student athletes who don’t raise sports to become an idol. In our Larger Catechism (for the PCA), the Sabbath is defined as one day in seven to be set aside (Q. 116) as the Sabbath, which is called the Lord’s Day.

What they did was admirable, not something to be nitpicked.

Actually, I agree with you. I think things were better when everything was closed on Sunday. But pretending that it is the Sabbath rather than the L-rd's Day is a bit absurd.

Indeed it’s laudable. Even though we aren’t PCA (we are Reformed Baptists), we are considering Covenant for our daughter. There aren’t many Reformed options.
