Father God, we come to You through Jesus Christ, entering the Holy of Holies.

Lord, we pray that You will protect our troops, as they again engage our enemies in Iraq, and give them success in all their efforts.

May Your Name, O LORD, be praised, both now and forevermore. From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, Your Name is to be praised. You are exalted over all the nations, and Your glory is above the heavens. Who is like You, our God, the One who sits enthroned on high, who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth? You raise the poor from the dust and the needy from the ash heap; You seat them with princes, with the princes of their people. You settle the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Because You are great, Lord, and because You are kind, You are to be praised, and we – whom You have loved, whom You have raised up – we praise You in the Name of Jesus Christ, now and forevermore, Amen.
