Fr.Z has lost all credibility in my eyes and has been acting like somebody who's afraid to sneeze. He has been extremely selective about what appears in his combox and has been screening out readers' replies by the score. He's essentially whitewashed this whole issue. The other day, he completely shut the combox on a thread regarding Amoris Laetitia.

Sadly, it appears as if he's not yet ready for the catacombs. He's always appeared to be something of a bon vivant, as the French say, and I kinda get the feeling that he'd rather not jeopardize his current living arrangements by a too-outspoken defense of Church teaching.
