We give glory to You God and thank You for the confidence we have through the shed blood of Jesus and the infallibility of Your Word to gather together in prayer today.

We have confidence that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us and, therefore, that we have the petitions we have asked of You.

We thank You, God, upon every remembrance of our beloved military men and women, always in our prayers making request for them all with joy, particularly for those who know You. Thank You for our fellowship in the gospel. We are confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in them will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. It is right for us to think this of them, because we have them in our hearts, inasmuch as they are all are partakers with us of grace. For God is our witness, how greatly we long for them all with the affection of Jesus Christ. (Phil 1:3-8).

We have confidence that Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. Therefore, cause their love to grow and abound so they can discharge their duties without fear and with Your favor and protection. (1 Jn.4:17-18)

We love You because You first loved us and thank You for the work You are doing in us all.

Grant us the grace of godly leaders and of the outpouring of Your Spirit on all our citizens. Let righteousness and truth prevail in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Easter reminded us that Jesus is the answer to each problem which now confounds our leaders who, in their own "wisdom," are confused and helpless.
