On Good Friday, March 25, pro-lifers across the country will take part in “A Way of the Cross for Victims of Abortion” at their local abortion facility, and you’re invited to take part!

We’re calling on pro-lifers like you to join us in hosting a “Way of the Cross for Victims of Abortion” at your local abortion facility.

And, we’re providing you with all the tools you need to make it happen in your area, including an ecumenical prayer service book, templates to promote your event through e-mail and in churches, advice on practical considerations and more!

Though the devotion of the Stations of the Cross has Catholic roots, the service we conduct is completely ecumenical. People of every denomination join us every year and there is no material in the book that would be offensive to non-Catholics to pray. Please feel free to join or host a Way of the Cross no matter what your denomination. All the Tools to Host Your Own Way of the Cross

Click here for locationsHosting your own “Way of the Cross for Victims of Abortion” may sound daunting if you’ve never organized something like this before, but if you follow these simple steps, you’re guaranteed to have a wonderful event that will be a blessing to everyone involved.

If you are going to host your own service, please e-mail the League with the time, date, and location including physical address of your service so we can add it to our list of sites below!

Dietrich von Hildebrand wrote something about “Stations of the Cross” for this and for that—something many people will not like.

He said that the purpose of the Stations is to console Christ by worshiping his Humanity, which is due worship because Christ’s Humanity is hypostatically united with the Divine Person.

To make the Stations “about” this or that aggrieved or persecuted group is to exploit the Stations, and to obscure or even eliminate their real purpose—to worship Jesus Christ specifically in His suffering Humanity.

I was thinking just today Morgana, if Trump wins the presidency he may get to appoint several judges to the SCOTUS.

If he does what he said he would do and appoints only those in the mold of Scalia and Thomas then abortion will be overturned within a few years.

I think Cruz would appoint similar justices but IMO he could never win in the general election. I hope that after a win by Trump they would bury the hatchet and Trump could then appoint Cruz to the court. Cruz is a bad politician but I think he would be a near-perfect judge on the SCOTUS.

If Hillary gets to appoint several justices then all is lost... they would be euthanizing born infants who had deformities as well as old folks with maladies like Alzheimers :-( (no, I’m not kidding, I think it would happen)

It’s sobering to consider what is at stake in this election :-/

I think I could accept abortion only in cases where the physical health of the mother is at grave risk...none of that psychological health crap though.

I have consecrated the mornings this Holy Week to being outside the abortion mill. I
believe on Monday a woman drove in, made the appointment, went home and got her
husband/bf to drive her back for the appt. As they drove up, he was pointing heatedly at
my sign, trying to get her to abide by it, she took a nervous glance, having already seen it
earlier that morning. I prayed 3 Memorare, and when they drove out a half hour later, he
gave me a big smile and thumbs up. So I think the baby was safe to see another day. AMDG!

You know was re-reading the article and came to this conclusion. The “way of the cross” is already “pro life” in itself. Jesus died so we could have life, so he would lift us up on the last day. No need to change anything there.

Then I read this:

“People of every denomination join us every year and there is no material in the book that would be offensive to non-Catholics to pray.”

If they are offended by any prayers that sounds like a personal problem. Not like any of our prayers did not come from the Bible and most of them are Sola Scriptura any way. I don’t change anything, never have just because someone else might be “offended”, why should I? They certainly don’t care if I am.

Incredible story, jobim! The Blessed Mother saved that baby in response to your prayers. It was not only the woman’s eyes, but her heart, and the father’s, that were directed by God to your sign and to the possibilities for life.

Mary is fundamental to pro-life efforts. Stations are a devotion; saying the Stations all day long will not invoke the power of one sincere Salve or Memorare. Sadly, some groups now ban Marian references to appeal to protestants; a dangerous mistake.
