Pray for our American Heroes

Our Loving Savior,

We Exalt You, our God, and will Sing of Your Grace Forever! Our Worthy Master, we Glory in Jesus Who has Raised us from the Dead. New Life in Christ is ours, All through Your Kindness and Love. 'Yes, they shall Sing about Jehovah's Glorious Ways, for His Glory is Very Great!' (Ps.138:5)

Our God Most Merciful, we ask for Good Blessings for our Troops. May they be Kept Safe Always, Sheltered in Your Arms of Love. May Your Strength Uphold them, and Your Power and Abilities be theirs. May they be Filled with Thy Spirit, and Gifted with Salvation and Grace. For our Military Men and Women we Pray Isaiah 54:10, 'For the Mountains May Depart and the Hills Disappear, but My Kindness shall not Leave you. My Promise of Peace for you will Never be Broken, says the Lord Who has Mercy upon you.'

Our Abba, we Thank You for Liberty in Jesus Christ, for Freedom from the Penalty of Sin and Death. Thank You for Setting us Free to Walk in Newness of Life! We Ask that Liberty will Abound, both in our Nation and in Your Blood-Bought Church. May Bondages be Broken throughout our Sinful, Wayward Land. May Sin be Forgiven, and those Trapped in Cults be Delivered by Jesus' Hand. Set them Free, our God! 'Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty.' (2Cor.3:17)

Your Majesty, we Pray for a Multitude of Godly Men to be Elected in the Upcoming Elections. May the Evil Men in Office be Soundly Defeated, Humiliated, and Disgraced. Our King, Proclaim Freedom for Your Church from the Tyranny of Wicked Men. Please Grant us Good Men who Stand for Jesus, who are Strong, and Courageous and Just.

Please Bring an End to the Scourge of Abortion that Blights and Curses our Land. Our Shepherd, we Cry Out for Mercy for the Helpless and the Weak. May Men be Raised Up who will Pass Laws for the Preservation of Life. We Look to You, we Trust in You, O Lord of Boundless Love.

Thank You, our Abba, for Hearing and Answering our Prayers. 'Let Everything that hath Breath Praise the Lord!' (Ps.150:6) In Jesus' Name, for the Glory of the King of kings, amen.

IN THE COLDEST and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered his prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting Glory, and bestowed His Manifold Blessings upon the new Nation.

FROM THE BRAVE, albeit weary, ill-equipped, and untrained volunteers who marched into Valley Forge on 19 December 1777 arose, with the help of some gallant friends from across the waves, the cohesive fighting force that became the United States Army, global defender of Freedom and scourge of Tyrants.

AS GENERAL WASHINGTON lifted his prayers on high in that bleak Winter, let our prayers now rise like a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and gather them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

HEAVENLY FATHER, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these valiant men and women who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the Freedoms we hold dear.
