There is a Catholic ban to ordain married men, there isn’t one about homosexuals; though, homosexuals can’t be ordained since they’re unrepented sinners.
This contradicts the Catholic teaching, they believe that priesthood as a spiritial gift can't be revoked, but the Church can ban a priest to act like one as well as to wear priestly vestments.
A “retired” Episcopal priest who is a substitute at a small PA parish has recently been suspended. Allegations resurfaced that, years back, he abused students at a very expensive Episcopal boarding school. Those allegations (and allegations against other boarding school staff members) are being investigated again.
Episcopal priests can marry.

It is common knowledge that "gay" culture is heavily into young boys. That is the ugly fact the news media—a large portion of whom are themselves homosexuals— wish to conceal. Therefore, homosexual men preying upon teenage boys is labeled as pedophilia or child abuse.
What are we supposed to do? Applaud?
God’s rules for pastors (a priest is a pastor), elders and deacons can be found in 1 Timothy 3.
There are no exceptions.
If he’s celibate, it doesn’t matter what urges he feels. If he’s not celibate, then he’s not a priest, just a liar and a pervert.
The dishonesty is in relabeing homosexuality with a safely despised practice, pedophilia. They are hiding the fact that perverts are...well...perverts

The problem is the RCC actively recruited homosexuals to the seminaries in the sixties and seventies, in vain and stupid attempts to present ‘open the windows and let in fresh air’...
The thought process apparently followed the belief that the Faith needed to be presented anew to the younger crowd; and the idiots who ran the church bought the lies of the ‘free love’ generation, hook, line, and sinker...
