It’s Time for Christians to Go to Jail over Marriage

As Churchill inspires us, we must fight the tyrannical menace that is the modern homosexual agenda, if necessary for years, if necessary alone. We must fight strong to the end, we must fight for the churches, we must fight for the chapels, and we must fight for the children. We shall fight in the media, we shall fight in the legislatures, and we shall fight in the courts. And if necessary, as Dr. Martin Luther King inspires us, we must go to jail.

No, it’s time for the states and the people of the states to reject and nullify unconstitutional federal acts which by definition are acts of tyranny, like unconstitutional federal interference with marriage.

The thugs are too good at tactics to jail decent Americans. They will take our property or shoot us down in a snow bank, but they are not going to have us sitting in prison costing them money.

Seems to me if it was likely to happen at all, it would have happened in the 40+ years of the imposed legality of killing unborn people.

Of course there’s no chalk outline for the victims of abortion and the surviving victims are ultra, ultra rare, while the victims punished for not agreeing with ‘gay marriage’ can be seen, and speak about it and complain on their own account. But I would still find it remarkable if it happens over ‘gay marriage’ when/if it didn’t over abortion.

Of course 50 years ago, who would have predicted something called ‘gay marriage’ would be accepted by all 50 states by 2016, and not a single one would yet accept legal polygamy?

So if you happen to live in a conservative state then gay marriage is wrong, but if you happen to live in a liberal state then by the waving of a magic wand (a very sparkly one at that!) gay marriage is OK.

Certain things are either universally right or universally wrong.

Sadly, the concept of absolute truth has long been abandoned by too many Americans.

All part of the “long train of abuses” of despotic government spoken of in the Declaration of Independence.

At some point the states and the people of the states have to say “ENOUGH!!!” if they care at all about their God-given rights to Life, Liberty, and Pursuits of Happiness.

So many everywhere, including many here at FR, seem confused about what is the greatest threat to our peaceful and free way of life: the $4 trillion mostly unconstitutional federal government.

So many also seem clueless about the solution to federal government tyranny: REINSTATING THE CONSTITUTION AS THE SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND AND RULER OVER THE FEDS.

Political freedom (substantial absence of government coercion) depends on the rule of law. Unfortunately so many so-called conservatives think that means just any old law will do. No. The rule of law means THE LAWMAKERS are subject to a supreme law that rules them. In our case, it is the Constitution.

Many around the world for centuries have said that they thought of America as Heaven and many have died trying to get here. They died for one reason - they longed for FREEDOM FROM GOVERNMENT COERCION. Compared to the rest of the world and history down through the ages, we in America have been blessed with a Heaven on Earth. I think the rest of mu life will be about fighting to regain our freedoms - spiritual (the grace of Jesus Christ), political (the Constitution), and economic (the free market). It is a good fight - the good fight of faith.

And I know that whether America can regain it’s former glory and freedom, that at some point I will go to a glorious Place that is forever lovely, peaceful, free, and happy.

Just enforce the 1st Amendment, which prohibits federal interference in religious matters such as baptisms and marriages.

The government shouldn’t see “marriage.”
The government shouldn’t track “baptisms” or bar mitzvahs.

There should be a separation between government and religion.

I don’t think they would jail a Christian for refusing to participate in a gay “marriage”. They prefer taking our money because (1) socialist thugs think it should be theirs anyways, and (2) they think taking our livelihood makes us less a victim than overtly taking our freedom. You disagree?

Look for an increase in standing up to those who would be oppressive.

You can’t approach it that way politically. Morally of course. But that is why we live in a free country. Everyone is entitled to their own morals and beliefs. The Constitution simply limits the power of the feds who have NO legitimate, constitutional say in the matter.

Marriage is a states’ and local issue. A free society must let the local state republican/representative form of government decide on marriage based on the wishes of the people of the state.

An BTW, generally, states, before the feds’ interference, were for the Bible and prayer in public schools, against abortion, and against gay marriage. And if you need to you can always move to a state closer to your beliefs. Tyranny is when the feds unconstitutionally force THEIR morals and beliefs on the rest of us.

Kay Davis didn’t get much support from the political class. Certainly, when her name was brought up last night, no one spoke up for her.

> “Marriage is a states’ and local issue.”

As of today, January 29, 2016, the above is not the case.

Anthony Kennedy, a justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, appointed by Ronald Reagan after he had craftily lied about his views of the judiciary, decided last year that marriage is a federal issue.

You’re living in the Constitutional era when in ***fact*** you are in denial that we are living in the post-Constitutional era.

In theory, a Constitutional era can be resurrected but Washington DC will never amend the Constitution to define marriage. Only the states via Article V of the Constitution can have the will to amend the Constitution to define marriage, or in the alternative, a better lasting solution, to create by amendment a 30-state quash authority to void and nullify any action, ruling or directive of the federal government.

Well then you’re one of the ones who have given up on your freedom. I will never give up.

As far as marriage goes, it is completely outside the constitutional power of the feds. You need no constitutional amendment. You just need to enforce constitutional limitations on the feds and you do that by state action which can be accomplished immediately. A well-run convention of states (CoC) could do some good, but not here because again, marriage is outside legitimate federal action. Constitutional amendments that reiterate the Constitution tend to weaken it.

Good luck.
