No cast yet, they are really busy tonight. It’s meerly a flesh wound. Flying out of O’Hare
Worst pain I’ve ever had was when they tried to set a broken bone. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
It’s been my experience that if you tell the TSA about problems you have up front and are fully cooperative, they’ll work with you and get you through with some substitute screening fairly smoothly. (Don’t forget to thank them at every opportunity).

Prayers said for your very swift recovery. Keep the area warm, and keep your leg(s) in an up position, i.e., on an ottoman. Don’t let arthritis set in.

Why be hateful?
Slipping on ice doesn’t make you a klutz. Ice is slippery and people sometimes slip on it. Falling for carelessly bumping into something, or for no reason, may qualify you for a klutz.
Having said that, give yourself some grace, and heal quickly! Prayers up.

Adding my prayers, my friend.
Broke my wrist in Sept. Recovery wasn’t a lot of fun, but it happened, slowly but surely. Closing in now on 100% usage.

Cancel the conference. The first couple of weeks will be the most painful. Take the meds but when it’s time to put them down, put them down. If you have physical therapy coming....well just try to remember that it won’t last forever.
They just set it and it wasn’t too bad, actually it feels much better now that it’s in the cast.
Thank God for hospitals and every one that works in them. I will need surgery but I’ll keep everyone posted after I talk with the orthopedist.
