Been going on a LONG time....I once (1985?) had to be at a meeting at 6am with the INTEL Oregon Site Manager, and all the Fab management....WHY? As the highest level manager on site asked....we agreed....to babysit. Even then, meetings were ridiculous. That and a bunch of other stupid things Intel did.

Back when I was a pup, my father, brothers and I raised geese. If you have two or three of them, they are one of the most intelligent animals on the planet. They are smarter than a well-trained watchdog.
Put them in a flock and they are one of the stupidest. We often thought that was something they had in common with people.
