In the 1994 Prayer Breakfast in Washington DC, people are seen giving Mother Teresa of Calcutta a loud standing ovation.
Of course, the cameras show Bill and Hillary Clinton, as well as the Gores, sitting and almost frowning at the end of this 'rousing speech about the family'.
Later, the Clintons tried to adopt a baby/child from Mother Teresa's Foundation. However, they could not as Mother Teresa had a strict policy not to give a child in adoption to a couple who had done things that prevented them from having children (contraception/abortion).
Because of the timing of the Death of Mother Teresa and the Death of Princess Diana, some people had to make a choice as to which funeral to attend. This brought considerable attention to Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
But before Mother Teresa passed away, then First Lady Hillary Clinton thought she would just 'pop in' and see Mother Teresa since she was in that part of the world.
After all, she was Queen -- oh excuse me -- First Lady Hillary Clinton.
Hillary Clinton found out the hard way that Mother Teresa would not break her schedule for anyone. If Mother Teresa was scheduled to pick up the dying in the streets on a scheduled day, that is what she did.
Of course, some saints could actually smell the souls of people. One saint even told a person that the person had to leave because the saint could no longer bear the smell of that person's soul.
Maybe Mother Teresa reluctantly endured the presence of a person responsible for so many SINS of ABORTION.
As a result of what happened that Queen -- I mean First Lady -- Hillary Clinton was unable to break into the schedule of Mother Teresa, one very important and rich person in India claimed he could walk up Mother Teresa since he knew when Mother Teresa would go through the airport.
This was quite humiliating for the person, as he had a palace as elaborate and large as the Tasma Hall. When he and his friends walked up Mother Teresa in the airport, Mother Teresa asked him for the use of his 'palace' for her orphans. Embarrassed, he realized he could not refuse Mother Teresa in front of his friends and promised to build a building as big as his 'palace (of sorts)' for Mother Teresa's orphans.
As guess just as the wicked get their due in the end, so do 'saints', as Mother Teresa is set to canonized in September.
I wonder what 2016 holds in store for Queen -- excuse me, former First Lady -- Hillary Clinton.
Finally, there is the story that when Mother Teresa met then-President Bill Clinton, she scolded him -- probably because she learned of his stance on abortion as well as other things (Monica Lewinsky perhaps?).
Bill Clinton just thought this was funny.
It galls me greatly how First Lady Hillary Clinton could just break into the schedule of a saint-to-be -- without regard to interfering with her work.
Obviously, Hillary and Webb Hubbell didn’t use birth control.
Bill has at least three abortions to his credit. Undoubtedly many more.
Or merely resentment at not being the center of attention?
Finally, the movie recently released ("The Letters") had a negative review from the Mother Teresa Center (based in San Diego, California).
+God bless.
However, after Mother Teresa died, it closed. Apparently, it was just something for Hillary Clinton to put on her resume. Mother Teresa did a lot work contacting people to get the house opened. I believe it was babies/children to be adopted.
As powerful as the Clintons are, they could have worked to keep it open and feep it funded. They did not. LifeNews.Com had an article on it.
I vaguely remember this; thank you for the reminder. I’ll have to look it up on LifeNews.Com.
Prayers for Hillary Clinton, that she comes to her senses. I would think that having a beautiful grandchild, with another one on the way, would help in that regard.
